Use your own device
Visit App Store and search for "meeScan" (available on iOS, Android and Blackberry). Download and open the app on your device. Allow meeScan to send you notifications, access the camera, and access your location.
Once finished, you should see "Welcome to PSU Harrell Health Sciences Library, Branch University Park Branch". If you got a "not at branch" error, enable the location service for meeScan on your device. Check self-checkout FAQs for more details.
Use the library’s MeeScan kiosk
Don’t have your own device? No problem! Use the MeeScan kiosk in Suite 304, Office 106.
Use the app
Touch “START” at the welcome screen. You’ll be asked to scan or enter your PATRON ID. This is your Penn State ID on the back of your Badge. In the checkout screen, use the “+” button to check out items. Touch the “FINISH” button when done. An email receipt with the due date information will be sent to your PSU email.
